Connect with APEX Accelerator during walk-in office hours in Bad Axe

The Huron County Economic Development Corporation is proud to share a valuable opportunity for local businesses interested in expanding through government contracting. Starting on Tuesday, July 8, East Michigan APEX Accelerator will be hosting walk-in office hours at the Bad Axe Area District Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.!

These sessions will continue every second Tuesday of the month, providing ongoing access to expert guidance and free resources for businesses throughout Huron and Sanilac Counties.

East Michigan APEX Accelerator helps businesses navigate the world of government contracting. From finding bid opportunities to completing registrations, their team provides hands-on support to help you grow in the public sector marketplace.

What to Expect at Office Hours

Office hours are open house style — no appointment needed. Simply walk in and meet with Brooklynn Smith, with the East Michigan APEX Accelerator. She’ll be available to answer questions and provide guidance on:

  • Registering in government databases (SAM.gov, etc.)

  • Finding and understanding bid opportunities

  • Conducting market research to identify government buyers

  • Responding to RFPs and RFQs

  • Post-award compliance and reporting

  • Networking opportunities with other businesses and prime contractors
