Celebrating Local Entrepreneurs: EM-SBN Cohort Graduation

We are excited to share that entrepreneurs from Sanilac, Huron, and Tuscola Counties will soon walk across the stage to celebrate the completion of the 2024 Eastern Michigan Small Business Network (EM-SBN) Cohort.

The graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Rawson Memorial Library in Cass City. The event begins with refreshments and networking at 1:00 PM, followed by the graduation program at 1:30 PM.

These entrepreneurs have gone through an intensive training program designed to strengthen their businesses and position them for long-term success. Each participating business is less than two years old and represents the new wave of innovation, creativity, and resilience in our region.

Through the EM-SBN program, graduates received:

  • Specialized training in core areas of business development

  • Grant funding to support essential services such as legal guidance, marketing, and operations

  • Mentorship and connections with regional business leaders and resources

Why It Matters

Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities. By investing in entrepreneurs during the early stages of their journey, we help build stronger local economies, create jobs, and foster innovation that benefits everyone.
