Michigan Wind One is owned by John Deere Energy and is located around Ubly. Here are some statistics about the wind farm:

• The entire wind farm is capable of generating 69 MW of power.
• The wind farm consists of 46 GE SLE Turbines cabable of creating 1.5 MW of power each.
• It has a 34.5 kV Collector System
• It has 10.2 miles of access roads
• It is the first commercial-scale wind farm in Michigan
• The wind farm generates enough electricity to power approximately 18,000 households annually
• The windmills offset the equivalent of 160,000 tons carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere annually
• The wind farm generates additional tax revenue.
• Harvest Winds provide, income to local landowners with a turbine site(s) or transmission corridors on their property through annual lease payments
