At the Thumb's very tip, this day use park provides a dazzling waterfront sunrise and sunset from the same lawn chair. Located 3 blocks E. of light, left on McMahon then left on Farrar St.  Walk its 1/4 mile long boardwalk or enjoy a family reunion under the spacious pavilion with kids playground, basketball, and horseshoe facilities adjacent. New shower and restrooms assist with clean ups after a day of sun and fun in the sand. During busy summer weekends a concession rents all types of water toys; floats, paddle boats, or water cycles.
